Kirklands In Athens

Philip and Joy and their three kids have been serving with MTW in Athens, Greece, since 2012. In partnership with local pastors and church planters, they are supporting the church-planting vision of the Greek Evangelical Church in various ways. Philip’s heart is to see the nations come together in joyful worship of Christ, and he is currently leading a Greek speaking multicultural church plant in central Athens, which officially launched in July 2020. In addition to providing local churches with counseling support, Joy also provides group counseling to women recovering from prostitution and human trafficking.
